We offer a 10-year wood guarantee against rot on our wood fences. Our vinyl and aluminum fences have a limited lifetime manufacturer's warranty. Acme Fence also offers a five-year labor guarantee.
From the time you sign a contract until your fence is installed, we strive to give you peace of mind. We handle every step of the process including permits. If you choose to buy a survey, we’ll handle that as well.
Yes! Most years, winter is the best time to buy a fence because it is the slow season. Turnaround times are much faster and we offer winter specials that we post on social media @acmefence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and on our website at acmefence.com.
The only days we cannot install are when it is raining, or the ground is too wet. Installations scheduled for those days will need to be rescheduled.
We always call Ohio Utility Protection Service (OUPS) before we dig. OUPS comes out and marks all public utilities.
As for private pipes and wires, although we cannot guarantee we will not hit them, having installed over a million feet of fence, our experienced design consultants know how to look for what might be underground and what questions to ask. We strongly encourage you to speak up about anything that is underground and discuss it with your Acme Fence design consultant.
None of our fences require any maintenance.
Do not paint a cedar wood fence, if you choose to stain it, you will need to reapply the stain from time to time.
An annual wash of a vinyl fence would keep it looking nicer over time.
Chain link fences are the most cost-effective fences. They are durable and low cost. Picket cedar wood fence would be next in cost and provide a traditional décor to your backyard.
Aluminum fences are middle-of-the-line in expense and provide a more contemporary look.
Privacy cedar wood fences are beautiful fences and provide privacy. Board-on-board is often a little pricier and allows for airflow while appearing better looking from inside the fence.
Vinyl fences are high-end fences. A simple white, clay or tan fence can be purchased at a moderate price but some elaborate, decorative fences can become more of a decision.
